Welcome back for the second installment of the Jill Hunter Short Story Series.
Each story in the Jill Hunter Short Story Series is a quick read taking the average person about an hour to finish (they're each about 10,000 words). But, what it lacks in length it makes up for in fast-paced thrills.
The Abduction A Jill Hunter Short #2
When Jill Hunter is approached by an old colleague from her time with the police, she is determined nothing can make her go back.
That is until she hears that a four-year-old boy has been abducted and the police have no leads.
Jill finds herself working as a consultant alongside the police – some of her old colleagues and some new faces.
Although the boy’s parents are rich, Jill soon suspects this is about much more than money, especially when she suspects the boy’s father is lying to her.
Will Jill be able to crack the case before it’s too late and save the boy?

Jill again...this time as PI & Consultant. Her former boss doesn't want her there but she had the pot by the handle. The characters are developing very slowly, by the 2nd book, I expect more. Even isn't what I call a full book (too short).
I don't expect a Series of 20 books as short as this one, isn't fair for readers. For that and the rest no matter what good this wil be and until the author speed and leaves back "Novellas" for "Books", I gave 3 stars not the book for the author.
About the plot: interesting and a little fast pace. Good. Jill, good but the author needs to let her grow exponentially or we will be waiting a life for Jill to grow.
I support Indie authors, they make an interesting twist on writing. The Publishers Houses had to be following more of them because they're are writing incredible stories.
I'm very honest with my Reviews, not only for me, the author or other readers, how an author know when did something good or need improvement?
How another reader believe in my review? If I didn't read the book, I don't Review. If the book is good, Review. If the book isn't good, Review.
With that we all benefit, readers, authors & readers searching for something new or special.

The Abduction A Jill Hunter Short #2 The Jill Hunter Short Story Series edition by Ari Rose Mystery Thriller Suspense eBooks Reviews
A child abduction is a good story line. This was a well written short story with the police working together with Jill to solve the. Rime.
Jill Hunter is a smart, strong, and experienced PI. This story has her searching for who kidnapped a young boy.
I was so invested in the story and the people, Jill Hunter and Jan that I wanted more. Gave it the four stars not five because it was not a book. It gave me a taste of what in store reading this series's.
This is a fast paces story about an ex-cop who is asked to come back and help her old department with a child abduction. Can Jill get the boy back and without him or her getting killed? Read this great story to find out.
This is really more of a Novella rather than a full length book. More thought should have gone into developing the characters. Parts of the book was good, but again I think there should be made longer in order to develop the characters.
It is a very short story, however I enjoyed that it not have a lot of excess nonrelevant details and names as a distraction. There was good character development and the detective process was very interesting as were relations between the characters.
Jill doesn't want to do investigation, they get messy, this is a 4 year old boy. Parents wealthy, how did one get past security, they weren't amateurs, and now wanting ten million ramson. Chief wants her officially on the case, Jill, refuses to be his trained monkey. As a consultant, fee want ever she asks. Perk, the chief would answer to her. Chief didn't like how she worked, but she got results, and this involved a young boy.
There is more than money involved, culpurts have money to pull this off. A good plot, that one can follow, as she unravels the pieces. The second in series, and another good story. Looking forward to the third in this series.
